The terms “Attic Lifestyle” “we”, “our” and “us” when used in these Terms of Sale (Terms of Sale) means Attic Lifestyle Limited. The terms “you”, “your” and “yours” when used in these Terms of Sale means you, as a user of our website.
Use of the Website
By placing an order for an Item through our website you agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale. If you do not agree to these Terms of Sale, you must please stop using this website.
Your Status and Eligibility to Purchase
When you order an Item, you will be required to provide payment details. You represent and warrant that the payment details you provide are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the “billing information” provided.
Registration and Accounts
We have made every effort to ensure the correctness of all details, photographs and descriptions relating to Items on our website. We do our best to display, as accurately as possible, the relevant length, colours, textures, weight and dimensions of each Item.
* please note that any measurements provided on products are as accurate as possible, however some discrepancies may occur as they are approximate measurements only
* the actual colours you see will depend on your computer monitor and browser and therefore we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any image is a completely accurate representation of the actual Item.
In relation to our handcrafted items, particularly any items of jewellery, please be aware that there may be some subtle differences or variances in the Item you receive compared with the photograph of the same Item on our website. It is this that makes each of our Items unique and special.
All orders are subject to availability of the Item or Items selected. Please note that there may be a delay between the time you place an order and the time when we accept your order, which may result in a change to the stock position relating to particular Items. We will notify you as soon as possible if an Item you have ordered is out of stock.
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. When you place an order, your order constitutes an offer to buy an Item from us. After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this email does not mean that your order has been accepted, rather it is an acknowledgment that we have received your order. Acceptance of your order will take place when your order is dispatched. We will email you that your order has been dispatched (Dispatch Confirmation). The contract between you and us will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
We reserve the right not to accept your order if certain events occur, for example, we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, an Item is out of stock or withdrawn, there is a system malfunction, shipping restrictions apply to a particular Item or you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in these Terms of Sale.
All Item prices are shown on our website in Hong Kong Dollars. Please note that the price of any Item stated on our website excludes delivery costs. Delivery costs are based on the weight of the Items selected, as well as your location, and will be added to the total amount due at the final checkout page.
Although we make every effort to ensure that the prices stated on our website are correct, sometimes mistakes can occur. If, prior to dispatching an Item to you, we discover a mistake in the price of an Item you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling your order. If we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you, we will cancel your order.
Prices of Items may change from time to time so please carefully check the pricing information provided on our website to confirm the current price of any Item. Any price changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.
We process all payments using PayPal. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL). This means that your payment details are encrypted.
We take all reasonable care to keep the details of your purchase and payment secure but we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from this website.
Customers outside Hong Kong may also be liable for any import duty, tax, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. Before placing an order, we suggest you verify what local requirements may apply to you.
Delivery within Hong Kong
For any order of HK500 and over, delivery is FREE.
Please note that we can only send orders to a street address. We do not deliver to a PO Box address. A delivery address cannot be changed once we have dispatched your parcel. We will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver an Item due to incorrect address information.
We use a reliable Hong Kong courier for delivery of Items within Hong Kong. Delivery charges are based on your location and the "actual gross weight" or the "volumetric weight" (L x W x H cm / 6,000) of the product/s ordered, whichever is greater. Delivery charges are calculated on our website check-out page in accordance with our courier company’s rates. Delivery charges are waived for orders exceeding HKD500, provided that the order does not contain over-sized products.
Delivery usually takes between 2 to 4 working days. However, please note that deliveries may take longer than this during sales and other busy periods or due to circumstances beyond our control. Delivery may also be delayed if a typhoon signal no. 8 is raised or a black storm warning is in effect. If you have not received your delivery within 5 working days, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
All delivery times are to be used as a guide only. While we make every effort to deliver Items as soon as we are able, we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the Items within the estimated timescales.
Most of our Items can be shipped internationally, using Hong Kong Speedpost. We do not deliver to a PO Box address. A delivery address cannot be changed once we have dispatched your parcel. We will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the Item due to incorrect address information. We are able to offer order tracking on international orders sent via Speedpost.
Delivery charges are calculated on our website check-out page in accordance with current Hong Kong Speedpost rates, please visit www.hongkongpost.com for details.
We aim to deliver all international orders within 3 - 10 working days. However, please note that deliveries may take longer than this during sales and other busy periods or due to circumstances beyond our control, for example disruptive weather.
All delivery times are based on working days and are to be used as a guide only. Whilst we make every effort to deliver Items as soon as we are able, we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the Items within the estimated timescales. If you have not received the Item ordered within 10 working days, please contact us on email@example.com.
Import Restrictions and Custom Fees
Please note that some countries place restrictions on merchandise ordered from overseas and/ or charge additional import fees or customs duties. These charges are beyond our control. Please be aware that you will be responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges payable. We suggest that you contact your local government body prior to placing an order with us, so that you understand what restrictions may exist and/ or what possible additional payments may apply.
Cancelling Your Order Before Dispatch
If, for any reason, you wish to cancel an order before the Item has been dispatched, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note however that requests for cancellations sent via email may not be actioned immediately which may result in the order being dispatched.
Returns and Exchanges Policy
At Attic Lifestyle we want you to be happy with your purchase, however if you are not fully satisfied, we will be happy to assist you in exchanging the Item purchased for an alternative Item or to offer you a credit on your account to the value of the original purchase, which can be used by you at a later date. Please note that we do not offer refunds for “change of mind” purchases or if the Item is not what you expected.
Any exchange and credit amount will be only for the value of the original Item purchased and will not include the initial cost of shipping to you. An Item will only be accepted for an exchange or a credit note if the following conditions are met:
* You contact us within 7 days of receipt of your Item to arrange its prompt return. In order to process your return as soon as possible, please email us at email@example.com stating your order number and details of the Item purchased.
* You return the Item to us, at your own expense, within 14 days of receipt of the Item to Unit 4, 12th Floor, Sungib Industrial Building, 53 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong
* The Item is returned to us in a saleable condition, unused, unwashed and in its original packaging.
* Returned items are securely repackaged. We recommend that you use an insured registered mail service as returns not received by us cannot be exchanged or credited to you.
Provided the following conditions are met, we will notify you by email once we have received your returned Item and have processed the exchange or credit.
Please note that we are unable to guarantee that exchange Items will be available at the time your request for an exchange is received. In these instances we will notify you by email to arrange an alternative Item, or a credit for your account.
All postage costs for exchanges or credit notes will be your responsibility.
Please note, we are not able to accept exchanges or offer credit notes on :
* any Items of pierced jewellery; or for Items that have been made or prepared according to your specifications, for example personalised, customised or “made to order” Items (except where these Items are faulty or damaged in transit)
* gift cards and Items marked "Sale" (or similar), “Sample” or “Seconds”.
Damaged or Faulty Items
We carefully check each Item before packaging and sending it to you. In the unlikely event that you receive an Item that is faulty or damaged in transit, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of your receipt. Please also ensure that you take the following steps:
1) Take photos of the original shipping box and the damaged item (s)
2) Contact your nearest local post office and fill in a "damage report" - please retain the damaged goods and packaging.
We may change these Terms of Sale at any time. We also reserve the right to amend, vary or remove any Items and any page of this website at any time and without notice.
Please read these Terms of Sale regularly. If you do not agree to any change we make to the Terms of Sale, you must please stop using our website immediately. Any changes made to our Terms of Sale after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless we are required to make the change by law.
